Gary Lawrence

Gary Lawrence is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in chartering and management. Currently serving as Senior Chartering Manager at Eagle Shipping International since October 2017 and Director at Clipper Bulk Shipping since 2017, Gary oversees staffing, budget reviews, and employee goal setting while leading the Chartering Department. Previously, Gary held the position of Senior Chartering Manager at Clipper Bulk Shipping from 2001 to April 2017, focusing on Handymax-Supramax chartering in the Pacific-Indian Ocean markets. Earlier roles include being a broker at Skaarup Chartering Corp and SSY - Simpson Spence Young, as well as a Chartering Manager at Navios. Gary holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut-Stamford and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College.
