Lior Brownstein

Pradeep Kakkattil is a seasoned leader in public health innovation and partnerships, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) since May 2023. Kakkattil previously held several key positions at UNAIDS from November 1999 to May 2023, including Director of the Office of Innovation and Partnership, where strategic leadership in the AIDS movement was paramount. Other significant roles included Director of Programme Partnerships, Innovations and Fundraising, and Senior Adviser to the UNAIDS Executive Director, contributing to transformative initiatives in global health policy. Prior experience includes working as a Programme Officer at DFID, where Kakkattil led a major sexual health project in India, and as Director of Community Action Network in Madras, focusing on marginalized populations. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Madras.
