Alexis Martinez is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in prestigious hospitality settings. Currently serving as Executive Sous Chef at Starwood Hotels & Resorts' The Westin Times Square NYC since October 2010, Alexis oversees staff training, menu planning, expediting, and inventory management for the main kitchen and banquets. Previous roles include Chef De Cuisine at The Westin New York at Times Square and Restaurant Chef at The Roosevelt Hotel. Alexis has also worked in various capacities in esteemed restaurants, including Executive Chef at Repas Modern Classic French Bistro and Sous Chef at Michael Jordan’s The Steak House NYC. Alexis holds an A.O.S. degree in Culinary from The Culinary Institute of America, earned from 1991 to 1993.
