Robert Carroll

Robert Carroll currently holds the position of Senior Advisor and Director of Communications for Governor Spencer J. Cox in the State of Utah, starting September 2024. Previously, Robert served as Chief of Staff at 47G and co-founded Altaport, where Robert contributed to the development of vertiport automation software for advanced air mobility. As Founder In Residence at Mountain Venture Studio, Robert utilized expertise in nuclear energy, having worked at Oklo Inc. on commercial and government partnerships, and completing a graduate fellowship focused on nuclear energy policy. Earlier experience includes key roles at Google overseeing operations in Cuba, contributions to Forbes Middle East, and leadership positions in entrepreneurial organizations. Robert holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a degree from Brigham Young University.
