Alison Birch

Alison Birch is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and human resources across multiple regions and sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at State Street since April 2022, Alison previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer, APAC at STP SuisseTechPartners, where leadership contributed to the development of advanced portfolio management solutions. Alison's notable tenure at JPMorgan Chase & Co. included positions as Regional HR Business Partner Lead for Asia, Head of Asia Employee Relations, and Head of HR for Japan and North East Asia, demonstrating a strong focus on HR transformation and employee governance. Earlier career milestones include significant roles at Citigroup Global Markets Japan, encompassing C-suite positions in operations and finance. Alison holds a BA in Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College and participated in the Associated Kyoto Program at Doshisha University.
