Nina Pedersen

Nina Pedersen is a Senior Meteorologist at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute since November 2011, specializing in operational aviation forecasting and the preparation of aerodrome and regional forecasts. Nina also serves as a weather consultant at Statkraft, focusing on long-term weather predictions related to wind, precipitation, and temperatures. Prior experience includes a role as an operational weather forecaster at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute in 2009, delivering forecasts to clients through various media. Earlier in their career, Nina worked as an Air Hostess for SAS - Scandinavian Airlines from 2006 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Meteorology and Oceanography and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Astronomy, and Meteorology from the University of Oslo.
