Lena Rodnyanskiy

Lena Rodnyanskiy is an experienced data manager currently serving as Manager of Data Concepts and Design at Stats NZ since February 2008, with various leadership roles related to Census development and statistical methods. Responsibilities include working on the design for the 2023 Census and coordinating ASPIRE assessments. Previous roles involve providing methodological advice for the 2011 NZ Census and assisting with building consent monitoring. Lena also held the position of Data Steward at Environment Canterbury and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Management Science from the University of Canterbury, as well as academic credentials from HTWK Leipzig and Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium.
