Karianne Breen Leirud

Karianne Breen Leirud serves as an Agile Coach at Statsbygg since April 2024. Previously, at Story House Egmont NO from May 2013 to April 2024, Karianne held multiple roles, starting with Smidig Coach at the team level, where agile practices were introduced in cross-functional editorial production teams. As a Smidig Coach at the organizational level, significant contributions were made to promote agile practices, foster a culture of openness and collaboration, and develop the organization's 2025 strategy. Karianne also has experience as Production and Service Leader, overseeing a department focused on team culture and workflow optimization, and as Leader of Adsupport, managing a back-office team ensuring high customer satisfaction. Earlier roles include positions at Egmont Hjemmet Mortensen, HM Nordic, Top Temp, and Grand Hotel Oslo. Karianne holds a Bachelor in Internationalization and Management from BI Norwegian Business School and has completed a leadership course at Mannaz and a degree in Hotel Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Norsk Hotellhøgskole in Stavanger.
