Axel Davila Lage

Axel Davila Lage is a Principal at STAUFEN. since January 2019, specializing in operational excellence and lean transformation across various sectors. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Inhouse Consulting at NWI Management GmbH (2017-2019), leading a team to support over 11 industrial holdings, and achieving significant operational improvements. Before that, Axel was a Senior Practitioner at Milliken & Company (2014-2017), focusing on operational excellence in the food and beverage sector in the DACH region. From 2008 to 2014, Axel held multiple roles at Nestlé S.A., including NCE Division Champion, where responsibility included the implementation of the Nestlé Continuous Excellence program. Earlier roles include consulting positions at Solving Efeso and Scherm Tyre & Project Logistics, with a foundational start at Festo as a QM Manager, Process Manager, and CIP Manager. Axel holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Science Kiel.
