Mark Bremer is Vice Chairman of Stax Data Analytics including oversight of the accompanying innovation and technology initiatives. He also is active in client relationships and engagements, helping to develop quantitative understanding of industry dynamics, market, and customer segments, and how best to pursue growth and make investment decisions through data analytics.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Bremer has advised corporate executives and their management teams in the areas of customer behaviors and the optimum approach to maximizing value and growth. He brings expertise to Stax’s private equity client and corporate clients who seek to better understand market conditions and long-term potential. Bremer regularly counsel’s clients on ways to unlock the value of their own data and on strategies to leverage external data to improve performance and grow profitably.
Bremer has a broad range of expertise across multiple industry sectors including financial services, healthcare, industrials, and consumer/retail. For more than a decade, Bremer has worked closely with healthcare companies, helping management teams and investors gain deeper insights into industry dynamics, long-term trends, and provider and consumer behavior.
Before joining Stax in 1995, Bremer was a consultant with Corporate Decisions, Inc (now Oliver Wyman), where he worked with clients in the financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing sectors. His work has been published in The Deal and Maritime Policy and Management, among other outlets.
Earlier in his career Bremer worked as a yacht designer.
Bremer holds an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.S.E., with honors, in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
