Stacy Mays

Stacy Mays is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Copeland Road Health Ventures since May 2023, Mays provides strategic advisory services aimed at transforming the healthcare industry. Previously, as Executive Vice President at Capital Blue Cross from 2021 to 2023, Mays oversaw the strategic direction of a $6 billion health plan. Mays held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at PreferredOne (2017-2021), where operational leadership was provided to enhance healthcare products. At UNC Health Care (2015-2017), Mays built and led a clinically integrated network within a $5 billion system. As President of North American Medical Management at Optum (2011-2015), Mays achieved significant revenue growth. Earlier career experience includes founding and leading Dynamic Grape Companies (2006-2011). Mays holds an MBA and a Masters in Health Administration from Georgia State University, and a BA in Economics from The University of Georgia.
