Maiken Rose Hjortbak

Maiken Rose Hjortbak currently serves as Stabschef at Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Maiken worked at Toldstyrelsen from August 2020 to November 2023 in various roles including Kontorchef, Fg kontorchef, Souschef of the International Team, and Chefkonsulent. Prior experience includes serving as Rådgiver at Aarhus University from November 2012 to August 2020, where Maiken coordinated interdisciplinary research networks at AU Health. Maiken also worked as a Projektleder at Folkesundhed og Kvalitetsudvikling in Region Midtjylland, focusing on the evaluation of patient education from August 2010 to October 2012, and held the position of AC-fuldmægtig in Sundhedsplanlægning, Region Midtjylland, from September 2007 to August 2010, specializing in health planning and emergency planning. Academically, Maiken holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Aarhus University, a Cand.Soc. in Political Communication and Management from Copenhagen Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University.
