Marco Cerrato

Marco Cerrato is a distinguished tax lawyer with extensive experience in both international and domestic tax matters. As a Partner at Maisto e Associati since November 1997, Marco specializes in tax controversies and settlements. Marco serves as Deputy Chair of STEP Europe and has been involved with STEP Italy since June 2018, including roles as Chair and Council Member. Currently, Marco contributes to the Italian Tax Reform as a member of the Technical Committee and leads the Tax Litigation Commission at the Milan Bar. Additionally, Marco lectures on International Management of Family Wealth at the International University of Monaco and has a history of teaching Tax Law at LIUC - Università Carlo Cattaneo. Marco holds a Master of Laws in International Taxation from The London School of Economics and a PhD in Tax Law from Università di Pavia.
