John Slevin

John Slevin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Interim Vice President of Finance at Step Up For Students since January 2024. Prior to this role, Slevin held the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at VENUS Fashion Inc. from September 2022 to January 2024 and Senior Director of Finance at Herbivore Botanicals for a brief period in 2021. An Independent Consultant from August 2019 to March 2021, Slevin previously spent over two decades at Estee Lauder, culminating in the role of Executive Director for North America Financial Planning and Analysis. This position involved overall financial responsibility for the Estee Lauder brand in North America, exceeding financial goals in the first year. Slevin began a finance career as a Financial Analyst at New York Life Insurance Company from 1994 to 1997 and holds a B.S. in Finance from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
