Charlotte Crane

Associate at Stephens & Scown

Charlotte is an associate and works as part of the Residential Property team based in St Austell and Truro offices. Charlotte qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017 before qualifying as a solicitor in March 2019. Charlotte has an LLB Law Degree from Plymouth University and where she also completed the LPC. Charlotte has worked in residential property for over 7 years.

She spends 100% of her time dealing with all things residential, everything from sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, assents, and deeds of gifts. The team deals with both unregistered and registered land.

Charlotte has worked on an extensive caseload at Stephens Scown including recently helping a client deal with the registration of their property to help them sell the property, after doing the conveyancing themselves when they purchased and forgot to register at the Land Registry. Charlotte dealt with the requisitions including with dealing with the Stamp Duty. The registration needed to be completed within a tight time scale to try to get the sale through – this was all dealt with in time and the sale was completed.
