Ishara Ghislain

Ishara Ghislain is an experienced professional currently serving as a team member at Nakivale refugee camp with StepUp.One since June 2022, where the focus is on utilizing social media to highlight ideas, products, and services while addressing the educational needs of refugees. In addition, Ishara holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Arise Community Support Organization and works as a Financial Literacy Instructor with WFP and FRC. Other roles include English Instructor at Arise English Centre and Finnish Refugee Council, as well as Executive Director at ARISE SCHOOL, all initiated in early 2019. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Child Care Provider/Assistant from Bishop Stuart College, a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Unleashed Potentials in Motion, and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the Finnish Refugee Council.
