Tara Lacoe

Tara LaCoe serves as the Vice President of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at STERIS since March 2015, leading the establishment of the ESG function that supports multiple divisions and locations within the infection prevention sector. Previous experience includes a six-year tenure at Cantel Medical, where Tara built a scalable global EHS infrastructure and launched a sustainable ESG program. Key contributions include leading the first Materiality Assessment and creating the company's inaugural Corporate Responsibility Report. Earlier roles at Olympus Surgical Technologies America and Admiral Merchants Motor Freight involved significant advancements in safety and environmental strategies, along with compliance management. Tara holds a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College and an M.S. in Environmental Sciences from UMass Boston.
