Safa Elkefi

Safa ElKefi, Ph.D., currently serves as an Adjunct Professor and PhD Candidate at Stevens Institute of Technology, focusing on human-computer interactions to enhance healthcare processes through statistical and systems thinking approaches. ElKefi has held the position of President of the African Students Association and leads the weekly PhD Seminar Series within the School of Systems and Enterprises. Additionally, ElKefi is a Project Director at Columbia University and previously worked as an Associate Researcher at NYU Langone Health, leading usability studies to support medical adherence workflows. Previous experiences include roles at Merck, the National Engineering School of Tunis as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and various engineering positions in Tunisian firms. ElKefi holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering/Industrial Management and has earned multiple degrees and certifications in relevant fields.
