Kate Criel

Kate Criel is currently a Junior Professional Support Lawyer specializing in Intellectual Property at Stibbe, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kate gained experience as a paralegal at IFORI and completed an internship at the Consulat général de Belgique à Montréal. Additional experience includes student positions at Desmet Defloo & Brouckaert Gerechtsdeurwaarders and a summer legal internship in the IP/IT department at Crowell & Moring. Kate has also interned and worked during summer sessions at EDSON. and Wanted.law. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Law and Technology (2023-2024) and a Master of Laws in International and European Law (2021-2023) from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in addition to a Bachelor of Laws in Law (2018-2021) and a secondary education in Science - Mathematics from Don Boscocollege Zwijnaarde (2012-2018).
