Marleen Smit

Marleen Smit is currently involved in hospitality at Wereldmuseum since April 2023. Simultaneously, Marleen has been a vinyl deejay at Miss Marylane since July 2016, specializing in music from the 1960s and earlier, covering genres such as rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, soul, and more. Marleen is also a co-founder and organizer of a vinyl-only 50s and 60s dance party in Nijmegen, known as Shindig!, operational since July 2014. Previous experience includes working as a cashier at Doornroosje since March 2013, handling artists at Studio Linksvoor from September 2017 to 2022, and contributing to social media and public relations at Brebl from December 2014 to December 2015. Marleen holds a HAVO degree from Pax Christi College and has furthered education at Koning Willem 1 College and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
