Julie Thewissen

Julie Thewissen has extensive experience in social work and community support, currently serving as a Wijkcoach at Stichting Sociale Wijkteams Arnhem since January 2015. Prior to this role, Julie worked as a Maatschappelijk werker at Rijnstad Welzijn & Hulpverlening from September 2009 to January 2015, and developed a methodology for group support for women affected by domestic violence during an assignment at Synthese in Venray. Julie's early career included various internships, focusing on social work within special education, debt counseling, and youth support. Julie holds a degree in Maatschappelijk Werk & Dienstverlening from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, complemented by qualifications in social-legal assistance from Rijn IJssel College.
