Floran Syler-Woods

Floran Syler-Woods has been an Associate Professor of Accounting and Data Analytics at Stillman College since 2020. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Professor of Accounting at Azusa Pacific University from 2018 to 2020, a Course Instructor at Western Governors University from 2016 to 2020, and an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Oglethorpe University from 2015 to 2018.

Floran Syler-Woods has a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Mercer University, a MAcc in Masters in Accounting from Kennesaw State University, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School. Floran also has a B.S. in Advanced Accounting from Tampa College and a B.S. in Hospitality Management from University of New Orleans. Additionally, they are certified by IBM as an IBM Blockchain Practitioner - Instructor Certificate, IBM Data Science Practitioner - Instructor, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. Floran is also certified by The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. as a Certified Internal Auditor and by AICPA as an Accountant/Certified Public Accountant.
