Zoha Shawoo

Zoha Shawoo is a Scientist in Climate and Development at the Stockholm Environment Institute, where experience includes co-leading a research consortium on loss and damage finance and developing frameworks for assessing justice in climate finance. Prior roles included a research intern at the Environmental Change Institute and contributions to various climate governance projects. Shawoo has received recognition such as the ECM Dissertation Prize from the University of Oxford and has extensive experience in disseminating research to policymakers and stakeholders. Education includes a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia.
