Brian Julius is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Director of Avionics and Flight Termination System Lead at Stoke Space since April 2023. Previously, Brian held several leadership positions at Heliogen, including VP of Systems Engineering and Director of Test and Reliability, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing systems engineering teams and developing testing programs. At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Brian was the Deputy Systems Integration and Test Manager for the Europa Clipper mission, and also contributed to the Mars 2020 mission as Deputy Systems Lead/Test Conductor. Brian's earlier roles include Director of Safety and Mission Assurance at Virgin Orbit and Director of Avionics Test, Certification, and FTS at SpaceX, where oversight of large teams and critical safety systems was key. Brian's career began at General Dynamics AIS as a Senior Electrical Engineer after earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
