Grant Mitchell

Grant Mitchell is Head of Research at Axar, which he joined at firm inception. Prior to Axar, Grant was an Associate at Strategic Value Partners ("SVPGlobal"), where he focused on complex and distressed private equity and credit investments. Prior to SVPGlobal, Grant worked at Warburg Pincus LLC where he made private equity investments in financial services companies globally. Grant began his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in the Financial Institutions Group. Grant received a B.S. in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley.
