Specifically, Naphtali focuses on pre-transaction human capital diligence, strategic intelligence advisory, and political and reputational risk, advising clients assuming significant asymmetric risk across a range of industries.
Naphtali has investigated founders, board members, LPs, shareholders, and new hires on behalf of private firms and public companies. On a multi-year contract with the U.S. Department of Defense, Naphtali participated in a human targeting process vital to national security, worked on intelligence-driven strategic communications operations, and led efforts to leverage open-source intelligence alongside classified sources. He also has experience assisting political organizations and not-for-profit foundations.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Naphtali was a director of research for a boutique due diligence and investigations firm, a contracting intelligence analyst with the U.S. Department of Defense, and the communications director for a DC-based nonprofit. He is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army reserve.
