Carlos Garcia, MAcc, CAMS, is an accomplished professional in the fields of compliance, due diligence, and anti-money laundering with over 20 years of experience across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and BSA Due Diligence Manager at Ocean Bank since May 2017, Carlos oversees KYC matters, supervises team members, and ensures compliance with BSA regulations. Prior roles include serving as an AML Compliance Officer at Deutsche Bank and a BSA/AML Compliance Officer at Banco do Brasil, where Carlos managed compliance assessments and investigations involving regulatory agencies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University and a B.B.A. in Management of Information Systems.
