Steffen Mueller

Steffen Mueller is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in molecular microbiology, virology, and cell biology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Research (Voluntary) at Stony Brook University since February 2014, Steffen Mueller is also the Founder, President, and Chief Scientific Officer at Codagenix Inc. since March 2009. Prior professional roles include a Research Assistant Professorship at Stony Brook University from July 2007 to January 2012, and a Research Fellowship at Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds from September 1996 to September 1998. Steffen Mueller holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from Stony Brook University and has a Master of Science in Genetics, Biochemistry, and Developmental Biology from the University of Cologne, along with foundational studies in biology and an Abitur.
