Chad Alexander

Chad Alexander is a GDD Engineer at Story Collaborative. Chad has previous experience working as an IT Dashboard Consultant at BRMi from April 2015 to January 2018. In this position, they provided detailed analysis on various documents such as the Mission Need Statement (MNS) in support of Program Accountability and Risk Management (PARM) for clarity, traceability, the need, and consistency. Chad also led the testing effort for the Information Technology Acquisition Review (ITAR) SharePoint solution, creating test scripts and formulating testing for verifying dashboard latency, 508 compliance, and resolving defects.

In addition, Chad researched through historical documentation and “atomized” requirements for the Grants Management Modernization effort for Federal Emergency Management Agency, to include requirements found in the Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and the Operational Requirements Document (ORD). Chad ensured proper traceability to requirements was retained when converting projects to Agile, by participating in JIRA software meetings as well as various other vendor demonstrations. Finally, Chad wrote the User Story Acceptance Criteria course and provided input in various courses for the Requirements Engineering Center of Excellence (RECOE). Chad also aided in the presentation of several RECOE courses with emphasis on Agile methodology within DHS and the use of best practices in the industry.

Chad Alexander has a Master's of Science in Management of Information Systems from University of Mary Washington with a field of 3.8. Chad also has a Bachelor's of Science in Communications with a focus in Video Broadcasting from Liberty University. Chad is certified in Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from SCRUM Study and in HubSpot CMS for Marketers from HubSpot.
