Tim Tharp

Tim Tharp is an experienced Waste Management and Environmental Consultant currently working at Strata-G, LLC since June 2019. Previously, Tim served as the Y-12 Waste Management Technical Officer at Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC from July 2014 to May 2019, where responsibilities included acting as a senior staff technical advisor and holding interim management roles. Tim's earlier career at B&W Technical Services Y-12, LLC involved assisting waste generators and leading waste disposition projects, while previous positions at Bechtel Jacobs Co. LLC included the development of waste certification programs. Tim also has a background with Lockheed Martin Energy Systems as an environmental project manager and began as a geologist at Chevron Corporation, ascending to Senior Exploration Geologist. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
