Thomas Morgan Jr. is currently an advisor at Striveworks. Prior to that, they were a front end architect at Peddle from April 2019 to August 2020. There, they architected and implemented a solely data-based UI. Instead of writing React, HTML, and CSS, the user instead describes the desired UI using 10 different entities that are stored as database table entries. Almost every UI in the world can be broken down into 10 different entities, so Morgan designed a code generator that could take information in the form of these 10 entities and generate a fast, functional, and responsive UI. The UI could be compiled out to React, HTML, and CSS files or be interpreted in real time. The code generator ensured consistency and reliability regardless of who created the data.
From October 2018 to February 2019, Morgan was a senior Javascript engineer at T3 working on redesigning a website for a large oil/natural gas company. There, they created a map to show all of their pipelines using mapbox.
Morgan has also held positions as a senior software engineer, frontend at Acrisure Technology Group and as a full stack software engineer at Opcity from November 2017 to October 2018.
Thomas Morgan Jr. began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida State University. Thomas then went on to obtain an Associate of Arts in Marketing from Broward College.
