Azamat Kalmurzayev

Azamat Kalmurzayev is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at STRONG TEAM since June 2017, managing a distributed team of 50 engineers across Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Key achievements include leading the development of a B2B banking product that reached 100K companies and achieved a turnover of 4 trillion KZT in just one year, along with fostering DevOps practices and maintaining a zero turnover rate among engineers. Prior roles include positions as an iOS Developer, where Azamat developed mobile banking applications and created a Banking SDK, as well as experience in various technical and leadership roles spanning mobile development, financial analysis, and operational management. Azamat holds a BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
