Eric M. Newberg

Eric M. Newberg is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in acquisitions and asset management. Currently serving as the Director of the West Region at STRS Ohio since March 2007, Eric oversees a talented team and manages a portfolio valued at over $3 billion. Prior to STRS Ohio, Eric held key positions, including Vice President and Director at The Broe Group, where the focus was on acquiring various property types, and Vice President at Acadia Realty Trust, contributing to significant retail and multi-family asset acquisitions. Eric's earlier roles include leadership in real estate development at Metropolis Lofts and financial management at JMB Realty Corporation and Ernst & Young. Eric holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
