Claris C. is an experienced professional in the field of sustainable energy and project management, currently serving as the Director of Programs and Project Manager at Student Energy since November 2020. Claris leads the planning and delivery of the SE Guided Projects, which supports youth-led solar initiatives, while also providing operational support, contract management, and project management assistance for various organizational programs. Prior experience includes research on microscale anaerobic digesters in Malawi for the BC Sustainable Energy Association, content writing for the Global Study Guide, and coordination of significant solar and geothermal energy projects at PetroEnergy Resources Corporation and Pan Pacific Power Philippines Corporation. Claris holds a Master's degree in Energy Systems from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of the Philippines, along with a certification in Project Management Basics from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
