Mamunur Rahman is a seasoned entrepreneur and advocate for sustainable development with extensive experience in promoting women's health and entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder of Ella Pad, Mamunur focuses on raising awareness among garment factory owners about low-cost sanitary pads and providing training for female workers to create their own hygiene products. In the role of Country Coordinator for Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE), Mamunur develops young business leaders and advocates for entrepreneurial education in schools. Prior experience includes serving as a Mentor for the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority's Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Project and as a Gender Expert for the European Commission. Mamunur has also contributed to academia as a Humphrey Fellow at various prestigious institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds multiple degrees in social sciences, gender and development, and sustainability studies from numerous universities.
