Helen Tobin

Helen Tobin is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as Head of Communications at Substack since November 2021, Helen previously held leadership roles at The Atlantic as Director of Communications and at PEOPLE Magazine as Manager of Brand Communications. Early career experience includes positions at Penguin Random House and Little, Brown and Company, where skills in public relations and publicity were developed. Helen holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in Finance, Strategy, and Marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Southern California, graduating Cum Laude.
