Gerald M. Slater

Gerald M. Slater currently serves as the Dean of Professional & Career Development at Suffolk University Law School since July 2023, having previously held the positions of Associate Dean and Assistant Dean for Professional & Career Development at the same institution since October 2012. Prior to this, Gerald M. Slater was the Director for Administration, Cooperative Legal Education at Northeastern University School of Law from January 1999 to September 2012, and worked as a Contract Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw from 1999 to 2005, as well as an Associate at Day, Berry & Howard LLP from 1994 to 1999. Gerald M. Slater earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northeastern University School of Law in 1994, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science from McGill University in 1987, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from McGill University in 1984.
