Rachel Newcomer

Rachel Newcomer serves as the Director of Development at Summit Counseling Center in Atlanta since December 2020, where responsibilities include developing policies, identifying funding needs, and producing monthly reports while managing stakeholder awareness. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Campaign Director for the Student Series at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from November 2017 to July 2020, achieving significant revenue goals and managing staff, budgets, and recruitment strategies. Rachel also held various roles at the American Cancer Society from January 2011 to November 2017, including Senior Manager of Community Development, where a portfolio of over $3.2 million was managed, consistently exceeding revenue goals. Rachel's career began at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as a Campaign Assistant in 2010. Rachel holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Georgia Southern University.
