Tyler Lauer

Tyler Lauer is an experienced aviator currently serving as a First Officer on the Boeing 737-800 at Sun Country Airlines since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tyler worked as a First Officer for SkyWest Airlines, flying CRJ 200/700/900 aircraft from August 2021 to August 2022. Tyler's extensive experience in aviation includes serving as a Lead Flight Instructor and Flight Instructor (ASEL) at the University of North Dakota from August 2018 to July 2021, as well as holding the position of Director of Flight Operations at Green Remote Aviation from August 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, Tyler has experience as a UAV operator at Northrop Grumman from February 2015 to June 2016 and served as a UAS Sergeant in the US Army from July 2011 to February 2015. Tyler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation - Fixed Wing from the University of North Dakota between 2016 and 2019.
