Tom Herbst is the founder of herbie, an independent marketing consultancy established in July 2019, focused on supporting brands and fostering collaboration among good people in the industry. As a member of the Sunday Dinner Community since August 2022, Tom contributes to a network designed to empower marketing and creative leaders. Tom has held several interim and executive roles in prominent companies, including serving as CMO at Mack Weldon, Rothy's, and Athleta, and as Global CMO for The North Face. Prior experience includes significant positions at Diageo, Sun Microsystems, and Sterling Group, where Tom specialized in brand strategy, innovation, and marketing. Tom holds a BA in English from Kenyon College, attained in 1995.
