Sobhan Goudarzi

Sobhan Goudarzi is a skilled researcher and educator with a diverse background in engineering and biomedical fields. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Sunnybrook since January 2023, Sobhan previously held a Post-doctoral Fellow position at Concordia University from January 2018 to December 2022, where also contributed as a Course Instructor and ENCS Laboratory Demonstrator. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the IMage Processing And Characterization of Tissue (IMPACT) Lab, an Applied Scientist at Raajmaan System focusing on omnidirectional microphone arrays, and an R&D Engineer at Sazgan Gostar Co. Sobhan commenced a career in biomedical engineering as a Biomedical Engineer at Kimia Afiat Co and began with an apprenticeship at Novin Medical Engineering Co. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
