Courtney Comfort

Courtney Comfort is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and product design across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Sunrun since July 2023, Courtney focuses on enhancing mobile app experiences and developing design resources. As an Adjunct Instructor at Seattle Central College since September 2017, Courtney teaches interactive design, usability testing, and Figma. Previous roles include Senior Experience Designer at Ellucian, where complex data workflows were designed, and leadership positions at Allovus and Meta. Courtney's diverse background also includes significant contributions to companies like Microsoft, REI, and OfferUp, showcasing expertise in mobile design, prototyping, and design system development. Educationally grounded with an AAS in Graphic Design from Seattle Central College, Courtney combines practical teaching methods with industry experience to prepare students for real-world challenges.
