Lucas Hughes

Lucas Hughes is a Water Resources Engineer at SunWater since April 2015, focusing on enhancing public safety through forecast flood modeling during significant rainfall events and supporting emergency services with flood height and timing estimates. Previously, Lucas served as a Student Engineer at the University of Queensland, where involvement spanned from February 2011 to November 2016, gaining experience through a dual degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering and Geology. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science from The University of Queensland, along with a study period at The University of Texas at Austin. Early education took place at Brisbane Boys' College from 2006 to 2010.
