Alexandre Basile de Castro

Alexandre Basile de Castro is currently the Supply Chain Director at OCP Brasil since June 2024. Previously, Alexandre held various leadership roles in the fertilizer sector, including Vice President at ICL Group for Brazil and Latin America, where oversight encompassed Sales, Market Intelligence, and Strategic Distribution from April 2016 to January 2024. Alexandre's experience also includes directing fertilizer operations at companies such as Helm do Brasil, CHS Agronegocio, and Bunge Fertilizantes, as well as strategic planning roles at Yara Brasil and Fertibras. An MBA graduate from the University of São Paulo and a degree in Agronomy from ESALQ/USP, Alexandre has extensive expertise in commercial strategy, business development, and operational management within the agricultural sector.
