Ed Hopkins

Ed Hopkins possesses extensive experience in avionics and embedded systems engineering, highlighted by current leadership as Avionics Verification Lead at Supernal since November 2024. Prior positions include Lead Principal Avionics Engineer at Stratolaunch, where responsibilities encompassed system architecture and integration for hypersonic vehicles, and Principal Avionics Engineer at Boom Supersonic, focusing on the XB-1 SST prototype. Ed has also contributed as an Embedded Engineering Consultant at Ziva Corporation and held various roles at Sandel Avionics, CEMSol, Foresight Sports, Lincoln Electric, and The Intellisis Corporation, with expertise spanning software development, hardware systems engineering, and avionics management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Engineering and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
