Mohammed Bourdi

Mohammed Bourdi, PhD, DABT, ERT, is an experienced toxicologist with a strong background in pharmacology and toxicology. Currently serving as a Toxicologist at Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2019, Mohammed previously held senior toxicologist roles at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). At NCATS, responsibilities included designing scientific studies for toxicological characterization of new therapies and preparing comprehensive evaluations for IND submissions. Earlier positions involved in-depth analysis of non-clinical toxicity data and employing advanced analytical methods for biomarker discovery. Mohammed's educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Therapeutic Chemistry, a Master's in Pharmacology/Pharmacochemistry, and a PhD in Toxicology/Pharmacology, all obtained from esteemed French institutions.
