Bob Metcalfe

Bob Metcalfe is an advisor at SuperWorld and a venture capitalist. Bob was previously a VP at IDG and founder of 3Com Corporation. Bob also spent time at PARC as a member of the Computer Science Laboratory and Manager of System Architecture.

Bob Metcalfe's educational career began with a degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bob then obtained a doctorate in applied mathematics from Harvard University. After completing their PhD, Metcalfe pursued a career in computer science, first obtaining a master's degree from Harvard University and then working as a researcher at the Wolfram Research institute in Champaign, Illinois.
