Elena Crete

Elena Crete is an accomplished professional in sustainable development and climate change initiatives, currently serving as the Head of the Climate & Energy Program at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network since May 2014. Elena leads significant projects such as the Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project and America's Zero Carbon Action Plan, while also overseeing the annual Zero Emissions Solutions Conference. Previous roles include Climate & Energy Program Manager and Operations Manager at SDSN, where responsibilities included managing operations and supporting various thematic and geographic initiatives. With a strong educational background from Columbia University in Sustainability Management and Climate and Society, along with extensive experience in development and environmental research, Elena has contributed to multiple projects aimed at improving sustainability and environmental awareness globally.
