Sam Pullara

Sam Pullara is a seasoned investor and managing director at Sutter Hill Ventures since November 2012, focusing on technology investments and supporting founders tackling significant market challenges. Pullara has been involved with several venture capital firms and startups, serving as a limited partner at Morado Venture Partners and Benchmark Capital, while also holding roles as an investor at companies such as Observe, Inc., Transposit, and Lacework. Additionally, Pullara has a history of angel investing in early-stage ventures, including Gene Network Sciences, and has served in advisory and board positions at Nexenta Systems and Curbside. Pullara holds a Master of Science in Physics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
