Catrin Rising

Catrin Rising is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, public relations, and media management. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Statens maritima och transporthistoriska museer since December 2016, Rising also operates Rising Konsult AB, providing consulting services in communications and PR. Previous roles include Global Communications Manager at World Childhood Foundation, Head of Communications at Sverige för UNHCR, and PR/Media Manager at ActionAid Sweden. Rising has demonstrated expertise in managing complex communication projects, crisis communication, and raising media presence significantly for various organizations. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockholm University and additional qualifications in creative writing and French language, Rising combines academic knowledge with practical skills in the communications field.
